Dividing/ indexing is a necessary process within certain technological operations/ systems of processing, control, assembly. Under industrial or laboratory conditions, different variants of angular dividing/ indexing devices, of classical construction or CNC, are used. This paper presents the main elements of a research-development activity on some modules from the structure of an indexing head with digital display, by assisted creation of 3D models of component parts and simulation of defining kinematic processes associated to main modules of the developed indexing head.
